General Ledger Client Setup

If you are a Paychex Flex General Ledger client and want to sync your payroll with QuickBooks, first confirm that Paychex has set up your GL for data sync. Next, authorize the synchronization of data between QuickBooks Online and GL by completing these steps:

Select General Ledger from the left navigation menu in Paychex Flex.
Select Preferences.
Select Export File from the Preferences drop-down menu.
Select QuickBooks^® Online, then select Authorize QuickBooks Connection.
Enter your login information into QuickBooks in the new browser window and select Login.
Select Allow access.
