OSHA COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing ETS

Speaker:

James Kirchhoff, Paychex

Courtney Malveaux, Jackson Lewis

With the release of OSHA’s COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS), impacted businesses with 100 or more employees will be required to comply with most provisions of the standard by Dec. 6, 2021, with testing requirements effective Jan. 4, 2022.

Even though enforcement of the ETS has been stayed by one court and challenged in others, there is a great deal of work to be done by businesses to be compliant before the potential deadlines. Jackson Lewis and Paychex are hosting a webinar to provide details about the requirements and impacts of the ETS, including:

  • Paid leave requirements for vaccinations and recovery from vaccine side effects
  • COVID-19 testing and who pays
  • Verifying tests and vaccinations
  • Recordkeeping requirements
  • Vaccination and testing regulation in State Plan States
  • Conflicting state and local laws
  • Penalties for non-compliance
  • Impacts of pending legal challenges

This event is not eligible for CPE or IRS CE credit.
